In 1998, the 130-year-old Commodore James T. Watkins house was moved from 25 Isabella Ave. to 96 Alejandra Ave. in Atherton by new owners David and Rhoda Herron. The house was cut into two pieces and placed on long steel beams for the trip to its new address.

One can never be too rich or too thin...........This is a better looking house than the Washington mess, but it is strictly living in the past when the earthquake comes.
