Yea Boo on Gibboney's editorial.
Fergusson is indeed abusing travel as Gibboney says. The Mayor said at the Council Meeting last night, that he personally, failed to see the value, especially for a small city such as ours.
However Gibboney misses on two fronts:
1. Fergusson is not just one of thousand working for Siermens: She was hired as the Business Development Manaager Clean Energy FOR LOCAL GOVERMENTS. Conflict of interest? You bet!
2. Gibboney says "McClure saw no conflict of interest to date." I suggest he clarify that statement with McClure."

The facts in evidence do not validate re embursement for Kelly's trip. That trip was unnecessary since said business could and should be done at home. I appreciated the councilman who discussed the need for doing business within the city. Her presentation was poorly put together. I am astonished at her lack of propriety and disregard for the taxpayers' money.
