Menlo council approves modified pool contract

They didn't have to split a baby, but the Menlo Park City Council had to split the city's public pools on March 1, an issue so contentious that a former planning commissioner weighed in from afar – far away, as in out of the country – while on vacation.

Cody must know Patty Fry very well. She was a master of picking out the typos in the planning staff reports when she was on the commission.

We all miss her and were really happy she sent in that objective, detailed analysis of the pool contract. It really helped the council and clarified so many issues for me.
