A mountain lion was spotted in a rural residential neighborhood in Portola Valley on Wednesday night, San Mateo County emergency officials said.

We have had many sightings of Mt. Lions up in the Los Trancos Woods, including myself who saw one on Los Trancos Rd last week in the late evening. Many neighbors are weighing in on seeing them and the kills left behind.
