It's ironic that Obama is coming to talk about clean energy by flying in on Airforce 1 with his entourage. Wouldn't it have been a whole lot more environmentally conscious to do a teleconference? Conservation rules don't seem to apply to the elite who want to enforce them on everyone else but themselves.

Teleconferences will never be as valuable as a personal meeting - for both sides.

The comment above asks why Obama can not teleconference? It is impossible to teleconference to the big Atherton fund raiser on Thursday night. How do I know this? Because Obama is seeking permission to land five (5) helicopters somewhere in this area. Can you imagine the cross-country jet fuel for two 747 planes and helicopter fuel he uses for these fund raisers? Guess who foots 100% of the bill? TIME FOR THE ENVIRONMENTALISTS to speak up!

This is a pretty shallow discussion.
Where were you folks when Bush, Rice, et al were the passengers in Air Force 1 and the helicopters?

@Mike I hope you aren't one of those gas-guzzling, astroturfing Teabaggers who has their lawn mowed and watered every other day, leaves the light on in every room and leaves the AC on when no one is home.
