I'd like to get off their distribution as well, since it goes right to the recycle bin, unread. Might this be considered littering, since it is unrequested, and unaddressed material thrown onto our properties?

POGO, I don't think either poster claimed this was their biggest problem. Is this forum only to talk about major crises and concerns of worldwide importance? Now behave yourself or you'll be sent to your room without dinner and forced to read two years' worth of Gentry before your next meal.
Have either of you just called Gentry and asked to be taken off the distribution list? That seemed to work a few years ago, but I don't know what their practice is now.

Sorry, Joan, you are absolutely correct.
But you would think that anyone who was capable of posting something on The Almanac's website and able to enter a complex, "case sensitive" verification code, would be able to figure out how to telephone Gentry Magazine's circulation department... or else just throw it in the recycle bin like every other bit of unwanted mail.

Meanwhile, the rest of us are trying to figure out how to afford houses that cost $2million+.
Instead of complaining about receiving Gentry, why not accept it as a mark of your financial achievement? And then recycle it.
