Tonight: Nonprofit hosts 'No on BevMo' meeting

Hometown Peninsula, a nonprofit coalition of local business owners and supporters, has stepped into the Beverages & More debate. The group will hold a public meeting at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 4, to present why the Menlo Park City Council should keep the chain store out of its city.

What is this??

Are they also protesting the new PetCo store in the Safeway shopping center??

Or is that pet store chain OK while the liquor store chain is not?

No, because this whole thing is being driven by Beltramos and Draegers and neither of them is a pet store.
