Mr. Buckheit, the Atherton police department is not going to get outsourced, no matter how much you and your idealogical adopted mother Ms. McKeithen are pushing to do so. The two of you are deeply disgruntled individuals but all the rest of Atherton residents fully support our police department.

Now, if we can only start a discussion about outsourcing Mr. Buckheit and Ms. McKeithen...that would be of great value to Atherton residents.

Dear Give it a rest,

"but all the rest of Atherton residents fully support our police department."

I have recently met several residents of Atherton who would prove your statement wrong.

Give it a rest, "but all the rest of Atherton residents fully support our police department."

A more accurate statement would be that ALL of Atherton supports the level of police SERVICES which we receive - and those could be provided by the same officers working in the Sheriff's department at a savings of millions of dollars and without the need for a new Town Center.

With what money. Shouldn't we look at saving money in times like this not spending? When times like this are so uncertain shouldn't we tighten our belts.
