Even if you have never done any home repairs or don't consider yourself "handy", consider this a excellent way to learn, meet new people, and do some real good for your community. One day is all that is asked every year, the last Saturday in April. You get a t-shirt for your effort, a great barbeque after the day is done, and some personal satisfaction that YOU have made a difference!
