Why does this area have to grow 23%? The US isn't growing that fast; most developed countries aren't growing in population much at all.
We don't have the natural water, and if sea levels rise, we'll have even less land on which to let people live.
This projection sounds more grounded in development wishes than in wishes for quality of life. That is something residents of this area prize. Looks like not for long if this craziness gets baked into policy.

Well, there is a good piece of news in this otherwise gloomy world.
Of that growth percentage, how many are going to be upper middle class business men and women who can afford to buy in this area?
Maybe, the water rising will create a need for some wonderful house boats like they once had in Sausalito?
If a vote were to be taken this minute, I doubt very much that anyone is really worried about overcrowding, or as "THIS IS NUTS" points out so democratically, that it would "nterfere with the quality of life. That is something residents of this area prize". ould you accept an armless and legless Iraqi vet as a neighbor?
