County residents interested in volunteering as senior peer counselors are welcomed to an orientation on September 14 at Family Service, 24 Second Avenue, San Mateo. Training at the same location begins on September 29 and will be held on Mondays and Tuesdays from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. through November 30.
