What happened to the so called Stimulus Funds for "shovel ready projects"??? If this doesn't qualify as "shovel ready" nothing does! Let's get Obama to help out here eh?

It would be great if we had a City goverment who used our tax money to take care of our streets. Instead they wait until you do a remodel on your house or fix your drain line and make you pave the street on your dime. Thats right you pay to pave the street to the center line. Then the City uses the money not spent for some other wasted use. I think Mrs. Boltons right why don't they pave her steet 50+ years is long enough. Results not excuses!

Gee, and I thought I have waited a long time (20 years) for the city to pave my street (San Antonio Ave). I suppose Ms. Bolton doesn't have any City counsel members "friends" living on her street either.
Make us wonder who's pockets our home owners taxes line.

With all the construction, and many more basements in new houses that cause caravans of enormous dirt-carrying trucks and cement trucks on streets, I think it's time the city look at the specifications for streets (they don't last long enough) and at increased fees for those whose projects cause premature deterioration of the surfaces.
Anyone look at Arbor between Middle and Cambridge and between Valparaiso and Santa Cruz? Truly shameful!
