Students dump bags of trash on campus

Menlo-Atherton High School students are dumping their trash on the campus' outside eating area because they think it could help save the environment.

I am proud of these kids. They raised awareness at our school and hopefully we be aware of what we consume as a school.

We should be more aware about how much we consume as a school. The visual of the trash helps us see how we can do better.

I think high school kids can understand how much trash they waste each week without a pile of [portion deleted] in the middle of their green. Stupid, stupid, STUPID! In addition, there have been sightings of leadership students intentionally putting recycling into the trash pile to make it look bigger.

Hi..I live in Richland Mississippi. I am a tenth grader. I think that what you all are doing is a great way to show students how much waste they produce. People say it's better said than done, you all really showed them. I wish my school did things like that
