Good for the Atherton Police Department to locate this guy and arrest him. The park is no place for weapons.

A felon in possession of a firearm? That dude needs to do some serious jail time. What is this BS of a no-contest plea. Four cops are dead in Oaktown because a felon was illegally in possession of firearm(s). No, the light sentence deal doesn't work. And the fact that the perp is a known gangbanger adds more credibility to his being parked for a considerable amount of time. GET THESE CREEPS/LOWLIFES OFF THE STREETS AND OUT OF OUR COMMUNITIES.

ummm...hey Uncle Heavy...no one indicated this guy was a "felon in possession of a firearm". If he had been a felon on parole...he would have gotten a much lengthier sentence...

Wait, let me get this straight: Lawful, law-abiding, gun owner are persecuted in CA, but CONVICTED FELONS, known gang bangers, caught carrying get 20 _days_?! Forgive me but THAT IS INSANE!
Oh, and one more thing: The Fourth Amendment, like all Amendments in our Bill of RIGHTS, is well, a Right (revokeable after due process, like, oh, GETTING CONVICTED OF A FELONY!)
