I live off of Skyline Blvd about 8 miles south of Clos de la Tech. I am very glad to hear that the Zoning Text Amendment has been dropped from the application. I think a PUD approach is a much better way to address the issues for this project. I applaud the County and applicant for finding a creative solution to this issue and look forward to the new reports when they are issued.

Interesting. From this picture it looks like the Devils Slide bypass tunnel begins on Langley Hill.

"best pinot noir in the world", "environmental masterpiece", "it's going to bring renown to San Mateo County"? That's some major hubris. That kind of arrogance would give a hearty laugh to many a professional winemaker. In the end, the wine will have to speak for itself, and it will be years before we know how good it can be.
BTW, a grape crushing machine that mimics Ms. Massey's stomping? Why not just get some oopma-loompas? It sounds to me like they would fit in perfectly.

I have watched the creation of this winery over the last seven years. The owners of this project have put an extraordinary effort into creating a quite beautiful, green, and high quality project. You can tell that this is a labor of love. The owners have also made a sincere effort to get along with their neighbors. It is unfortunate in our time that nothing can be done without a tremendous hue and cry, no matter how beneficial. If I was king I would prohibit the drinking of wine from all those who complain so bitterly. Why don't these people that hate development so much put more of an effort into starting a good war? There is nothing like war to give good old mother earth a little breathing room.
