Ms. Eshoo is correct: The W-Boy is not listening. And he's willing to sacrifice the lives of others for the goal of political gain for his party. But why isn't Congress listening? The people changed the face of Congress last year in hopes of changing the sorry and disgraceful direction of our governance. "Congress must act clearly and decisively to bring our troops home ..." Ms. Eshoo says. We're still waiting...

Bash W all you want, finishing the job is still the right thing to do. And anyone belonging to a group whose approval ratings continue to hover in the 14% range...ie Congress...is the last person who should be talking about who is not listening to the American people.

“. . .finishing the job . . “? What, exactly, is the job in Iraq, Steve? Finding WMD? Establishing a democratic government? Winning the war on terrorism? (Is that anything like winning the war on drugs or the war on poverty?) Bringing peace to the Middle-East? Ending the civil war between Sunnis and Shia, or between Sunni and Sunni sects and Shia and Shia sects? Perhaps victory? What would such a victory look like? What is the “mission” we are there to “accomplish?” Are we really there, maybe, to be there forever? Can you spell O – I – L?
I'm not bashing, Steve, I'm only asking.
