I would like to personally thank Mayor Brown for his work on this project. I look forward to his continued governeance of our city. I hope to vote for him again in the next election.

I am happy that Menlo Park has reached an agreement on the Derry Lane Project. I look forward to more housing closer to transit as this fronts a major bus transit corridor, El Camino Real, and is adjacent to Menlo Park Caltrain.

Why the big reduction in below market rate units? If the total units has gone from 134 to 108, why have BMRs gone down from 22 to 16?

looks as if the BMR totals are approximately 15% of the total units in both cases

I'm happy to hear that the Derry Lane Project is now a real possibility. I have been on the BMR list for over 9 years and finally hope to have an opportunity to buy an affordable condo. I am disabled and am hoping there will be an accessible condo available.

Jill, please explain why I, as a resident and taxpayer, should be subsidizing your housing. I keep hearing that the BMR units exist so that our public service workers can live in Menlo Park, but as far as I can tell, they don't want to live to live in one of those little units on the tracks. I live in a home that I can afford, and I don't expect the people of Hillsborough or Atherton to make it possible for me to live in their towns. You already live in Menlo Park; why do you think we should be paying for you to have a condo here?
