Interesting proposition. I have to disagree with the "intelligent" part of your equation. I know a lot of intelligent people who are uber-multi-taskers. But antithetical to conscientious life and behavior? Sounds right to me.
I would add that multi-tasking is also antithetical to life as an aware, a sentient, human being. Multi-taskers are rarely truly "in the moment" -- aware of what is right before them. There's a richness in living in the moment, even when doing fairly mundane things. It's a great modern tragedy that the pace of life has become so insane that people feel compelled to multi-task if they hope to sleep more than two hours a day.
