I like the basic idea. I think it requires a very careful look into the impact of children East of El Camino. It seems there is projected a lot of changes between schools which is tough and it is still hard to determine who goes to Encinal or Laurel if they both go K-5. I think while this is a start -- we need to think about a long-term solution which may include even adding another school if the growth patterns project out as they stand now. I believe that careful planning now for a 15-20 year outlook would be wise since we are considering some pretty big changes now.
