Beth Grossman was born in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, to Stephanie and Herbert Grossman. She grew up in a variety of places, moving to Washington, D.C., then to Sudbury, MA (the namesake of her childhood cat), and finally, to Palo Alto in the second grade. She attended Palo Alto High School, where she was involved in El Al BBG. After graduating high school, Beth went to Williams College where she studied political science and graduated cum laude. She spent the following year travelling the world and then attended Stanford Law School where she focused in human rights law. Working with Vietnamese and Afghan refugees with the Lawyers Committee for Human Rights was a highlight of her career. After graduation, she moved to New York to begin working at Cahill Gordon & Reindel, until she gave that up to clerk for Judge Charles S. Haight Jr. in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, after which she withdrew from law practice to grow her family. At Cahill she met her husband, Richard L Reinhold and the two of them had three daughters — Lily, Ellie, and Becky. She was passionate about helping her community — she served on her children's school boards while spending time volunteering as a walker and crew member with the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure. After her children graduated high school and college, Beth became involved with the Democratic Volunteer Center (DVC) out in California, and the Temple for Universal Judaism in New York. Beth is survived by her three daughters, Lily, Ellie, and Becky; her sister Abby Grossman, and her three cats.

Funeral and Burial Information: It was at The Hills of Eternity Cemetery and Chapel 1301 El Camino Real, Colma, CA, 94014.
