County Office of Education to host webinar on school reopenings

The San Mateo County Office of Education will hold a COVID-19 webinar on Tuesday, March 16, evening to discuss school safety practices as more schools return to on-campus learning.

Speakers include State Assemblymember Phil Ting, D-San Francisco, San Mateo County Superintendent of Schools Nancy Magee, along with other health experts and educators.

The session will take place on Zoom from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

The session is part of the Education Office's "Better Together" listening sessions to share medical and public health guidance for educators during the pandemic. The county's last webinar in February focused on the science of vaccines and how the COVID-19 vaccine will impact schools.
