Atherton to celebrate Halloween with event at Holbrook-Palmer Park

Atherton said goodbye to its library last year before its demolition with a haunted house Halloween party. This year, the town's Halloween event will move to Holbrook-Palmer Park.

On the evening of Wednesday, Oct. 30, families will gather at the park's Carriage House for "Halloween at the park."

The event will include a reptile show with the Lizard Lady around 5:30 p.m. and a costume contest at 6 p.m. judged by town staff, according to Anthony Suber, Atherton’s Deputy City Manager/City Clerk. Cotton candy and Halloween candy will be distributed. There will also be a bounce house for the entirety of the event.

The Halloween party in the park runs from 5 to 7 p.m. at 150 Watkins Ave. in Atherton. For more details, go here or call 650-752-0500.
