The Rotary Club of Menlo Park Foundation is now accepting 2019 grant applications from nonprofits.
The area of focus for grants this year is education programs serving low-income kindergarten through eighth-grade students in Menlo Park, East Palo Alto and adjacent unincorporated areas, according to a Rotary Club press release.
Grants are available to expand effective programs or facilitate new initiatives. The club will give preference to smaller, locally focused organizations.
There is about $20,000 available to support qualified applicants in 2019. Only 501(c)(3) nonprofit agencies are eligible.
The grant application is available here. The application deadline is Feb. 6, and award decisions will be made by March 15.

I am the Chairman of Rotary Community Corps of Bukit Padang, Kota Kinabalu Sabah.
My RCC is now preparing a book for shut down kids. Many kids are wrongly classified as dyslexic when in fact they are instructional casualties.
This is to inform you that our book on how to teach such kids will be out by end of February. It will be free of charge with no agenda.
Please share this information and watch out for the book online.
Feel free to see the testimonials of some of the parents of my former students. There will be more to come.
