Little Leagues name softball All-Star players
Little Leagues name softball All-Star players
(July 12, 2000) Alpine/West Menlo and Menlo-Atherton Little Leagues recently announced their Majors and Minors softball All Star selections for 2000. They are:
Majors
East: Christina Clark, Devon Davey, Bobbie Engler, Kelly Fero, Elena Flaherty, Molly LaPolla, Ryan McCann, Ellie Moore, Eilabeth Purner, Jessica Welton, Abby Yeakel and Erica Zoubala.
West: Jessica Altman, Annie Closs, Blair Georgakis, Jessie Hartman, Lauren Hood, Ellen King, Megan McIntosh, Corrina Mudd, Jackie Mumford, Rachel Shelley-Abrahamson, Alexandra Shepard, Erin Troedson and Miriam Zouzounis.
Minors
JellyBean: Emily Anderson, Heidi Galbraith, Kim O'Donnell, Brittany Margot, Alison Maggioncalda and Brittany Shaw.
Benchmark Capital: Sarah Black, Kacie Carlson, Carolyn Halaby, Ellen Ingebritsen and Kelly Thurlow.
Wild Turkey Farms: Melissa Benevento, Kammie Evans, Hayely Denenberg, Dayton Pickering, Jordan Shaw and Maddy Shove.
Miramar: Lauren Blocker, Allison Fero, Liz Harmon, Ashley Lucian and Lindsay Lucian.
Cambria: Natalie Davies, Brianna Georgakis, Riley Kelly, Ginny Miller, Jackie Shepard and Lindsay Welton.
Also named to All Star teams were Minors player Michael Couch, and Junior players John Geyer and Art Eisberg, league officials said.
