For You, Readers
Uploaded: Jul 19, 2021An elegantly draped veil, shimmering, pulsing, light
illuminates and obstructs.
I must wend my way amidst its tendrils,
guided only by faith and trust.
Anticipating and oblivious
I burst into the
searing power of god, cleansed,
I face my true self, your wholeness and becoming, our life,
and Spirit, in her many faces.
Lit up from within, I sparkle and crackle
Bathed in the softest, cool water
Our fingertips yearn toward one another
Butterfly kisses
Leaves of birch, inspired by wind
to sing and dance in light and night’s blackness.
Mountain, steadfast in her snowcapped majesty
Beckons
The call whispers and hollers
Reach for the heavens!
Slowly, surrendering into her waiting hands
Earth
lovingly caresses, teases, and sustains us.
At last I am empty, filled with love.
Feet firmly upon the ground
twirling in waves of sparkling diamonds,
eyes smiling, beautiful blue into velvety hazel,
our soul song rushes amongst the stars,
quivering touch, renewal.
My heart breaks wide open, healed
as Spirit unfurls petals of roses
into the glorious scent of home.
